“Taco Tuesday” under attack
Taco Johns, who trademarked the phrase Taco Tuesday nearly 30 years ago, is going after businesses and brands trying to use the phrase to their own means. Last month alone, Taco John’s sent warning letter to a brewery just five blocks from its national headquarters in Cheyenne.\
After receiving the letter, the brewery posted this coy reply:
