Stafford & Prince William Counties, VA – Virginia State Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a red Kia Forte that allegedly fled from troopers and struck a police vehicle during a pursuit Monday evening.

According to the Virginia State Police, the chase began around 6:04 p.m. on October 6, 2025, when a trooper attempted to stop the Kia for reckless driving on northbound Interstate 95 in Stafford County. The driver allegedly refused to pull over, prompting a pursuit that continued into Prince William County, where the suspect exited the interstate.

The pursuit ended on Cardinal Drive near Andover Heights Drive, where the Kia attempted a U-turn and struck the pursuing police vehicle, rendering it inoperable. Authorities said the trooper was not injured.

The suspect vehicle, a red Kia Forte with Virginia license plate TMG 2420, is believed to have damage to the driver-side rear door. Police continue to search for the driver.
