St. Louis, MO –Unseasonably warm and pleasant weather will dominate the workweek across eastern Missouri and southwest Illinois, with highs reaching the 60s and 70s before a late-week cool-down, according to the National Weather Service in St. Louis.
Forecasters say Tuesday and Wednesday will feature mostly sunny skies and breezy conditions, with highs between 67°F and 74°F and lows dipping into the 40s overnight. By Thursday, clouds will increase as a 30–40% chance of night showers moves in ahead of a cold front.
Rain is expected to taper off by early Friday morning, with partly cloudy skies and highs around 70°F before cooler air settles in for the weekend. Meteorologists note that this warm-up isn’t expected to last long, as more typical November temperatures return by early next week.
Residents are encouraged to take advantage of the sunshine and mild afternoons before the brief round of rain later in the week.
