St. Louis, MO – Police are asking for public assistance in identifying suspects involved in a shooting at a short-term rental party. A 17-year-old male was critically injured in the incident, which occurred on November 16 in the 800 block of Russell.
According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to reports of gunfire at around 10 p.m. Upon arrival, they found the victim with a gunshot wound to the chest. Emergency responders transported him to a local hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
Initial investigations revealed the shooting happened during a large gathering. Several juveniles were present at the scene, but many were uncooperative with police. Authorities recovered a significant number of shell casings inside and outside the property.
Detectives released surveillance images of four suspects, believed to be armed and dangerous. Community members with information are urged to contact CrimeStoppers at 866-371-TIPS (8477). Anonymous tips leading to an arrest may qualify for a cash reward.
The investigation is ongoing. Police encourage witnesses to come forward to ensure public safety and bring justice to the victim.
