St. Louis, MO – Drivers in north St. Louis County should expect traffic delays starting Monday as crews begin bridge work along Route 67.

According to the Missouri Department of Transportation, one northbound and one southbound lane of Route 67 (Lindbergh Blvd.) between Interstate 270 and Elm Grove Road will close at 6 a.m. Monday, Sept. 15. The closures are part of a project to replace the bridge deck over Taylor Road and Lynn Haven Lane.

MoDOT said the work is expected to continue through the end of the year, with Taylor Road and Lynn Haven Lane closed at Route 67 for the duration of the project. The suggested detour for drivers traveling in both directions is to use Dunn Road.

The department advised motorists to allow extra time for their commutes and to plan for alternate routes while construction is underway. All work is weather permitting.
