St. Louis, MO – The St. Louis Fire Department is inviting families to celebrate fall and fire safety during its Fire Safety Falloween Festival, taking place Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 1421 N. Jefferson Avenue, the department’s headquarters.

According to the St. Louis Fire Department, the free community event will feature over 50 trunks filled with candy and treats, plus music, food, bounce houses, and a YMCA video game trailer. Families can also sign up for smoke detectors and learn essential fire safety tips while enjoying Halloween-themed fun.

Organizers are encouraging attendees to come in costume and enjoy an afternoon of “Funtacular” activities designed to mix festive fun with important fire prevention awareness. Community partners—including Allstate, the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, the YMCA, and Alliance Credit Union—will also be on-site providing resources and giveaways.

The department says the annual event aims to give children a safe place to celebrate Halloween while helping families stay prepared for emergencies.
