According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, District 5 officers responded just before 1 p.m. to a reported carjacking near Delmar Boulevard and Kingshighway Boulevard involving a red Nissan. Within minutes, Metro Air Support located the stolen vehicle as it entered St. Louis County.
St. Louis County Police Department officers then pursued the vehicle to New Halls Ferry Road and Highway 67, where the two suspects were arrested without further incident. The juveniles are currently being held pending further investigation, authorities said.
No injuries were reported during the incident, and the vehicle has since been recovered.
