St. Louis, Missouri – Residents across the St. Louis metro, including Brooklyn, Illinois, will face increasingly hot and dry conditions through Monday, with temperatures peaking near 90°F and little relief overnight.

According to the National Weather Service, the region will remain mostly clear and sunny through the weekend, with daytime highs ranging from the upper 70s Friday to around 90°F by Monday. Winds will stay light, though gusts could reach up to 21 mph on Saturday.

Sunny skies and calm conditions will dominate across Madison and St. Clair counties, making it ideal for outdoor plans—but residents are urged to stay hydrated and limit afternoon sun exposure. Nights will offer minimal cooling, with lows in the mid-60s through Sunday.

Starting Tuesday afternoon, the pattern shifts as a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms rolls in, increasing to 50% overnight into Wednesday. Rain and storms could impact morning commutes, especially along I-55 and I-64.

With highs still near 90°F early next week and humidity rising, heat index values could climb higher. Residents should prepare now for potential storm activity midweek and stay tuned for updated advisories.
