St. Louis, MO – A crisp and quiet Halloween weekend is on tap for the St. Louis region as rain moves out and cooler, drier air settles in, according to the National Weather Service in St. Louis.
Rain is expected to end by Thursday evening, giving way to clear skies and fall-like temperatures just in time for weekend events. Forecasters say morning lows will drop into the mid- to upper 30s, while afternoon highs will stay in the upper 50s to low 60s Friday through Sunday.
Saturday may see a few clouds but no significant precipitation, keeping trick-or-treat activities and outdoor plans largely dry. By Sunday, another sunny and seasonably cool day is expected, with highs again near 60°F.
Meteorologists say the cool pattern will linger into early next week as the area transitions into November.
