St. Louis County, MO – Commuters are facing major traffic delays today after a crash shut down all westbound lanes of Interstate 64 near Timberlake Manor Parkway.
According to the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT), the crash occurred at Mile Marker 21.6 and has forced a full closure of the highway. Officials estimate the lanes will remain blocked for about three hours while crews respond and clear the scene.
The closure is impacting westbound drivers traveling through St. Louis County, particularly those heading toward Chesterfield and the I-270 interchange. MoDOT is urging motorists to avoid the area and instead use alternate routes, including I-270 northbound or southbound to I-70 westbound or I-44 westbound.
