Burtchville Township, MI – A multi-agency drug investigation in St. Clair County has allegedly led to the seizure of a significant amount of methamphetamine and the arrests of two individuals following coordinated search warrants in multiple communities.

According to the St. Clair County Sheriffโ€™s Office, the investigation concluded last week when the St. Clair County Drug Task Force, alongside K9 Brock and the Sanilac County Drug Task Force, executed two search warrants on Kipling Road in Lexington and Lakeshore Road in Burtchville Township. Authorities said the operation was the result of anonymous tips and ongoing investigations conducted by task force members and road patrol deputies.

Officials reported that more than 300 grams of methamphetamine were allegedly uncovered during the searches. As a result, Danielle Mahosky, 44, and Eugene Kotelman were taken into custody.

Mahosky was arraigned March 19, 2026, in 73rd District Court on multiple felony charges, including two counts of possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, felony firearm, and maintaining a drug house. Her bond was set at $50,000 cash or surety.

Kotelman was arraigned Wednesday in 72nd District Court on two felony counts of possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine and maintaining a drug house, along with a misdemeanor charge of receiving and concealing stolen property. His bond was also set at $50,000 cash or surety.

Authorities said both suspects allegedly remain under investigation as the case proceeds through the court system. Officials continue to encourage the public to report suspicious activity as part of ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking in the region.
