Springfield, MO – Residents across central Missouri may notice a few light sprinkles or brief snow flurries tonight, though no travel or weather impacts are expected, according to the National Weather Service.

According to the National Weather Service in Springfield, a weak weather disturbance will move through the region between about 8 p.m. and midnight Saturday, bringing a low chance—below 25 percent—of light precipitation. Any precipitation that does fall is expected to be spotty and light, with no accumulation anticipated.

Forecasters say temperatures will drop into the low to mid-20s overnight, generally ranging from 22 to 25 degrees, which could allow for a few flurries to mix in, especially in northeastern portions of central Missouri. However, road conditions are expected to remain dry and unaffected.

In addition to the light precipitation chances, gusty winds up to 30 mph may be felt at times tonight, contributing to a colder feel across the region. Despite the wind, the National Weather Service emphasized that no hazardous weather is expected.

Looking ahead, Sunday will be dry with highs reaching the low to mid-40s, followed by a brief warmup early next week, with temperatures climbing into the 50s and near 60 by Tuesday before cooling again midweek.

Cities included in this forecast area include Springfield, Lebanon, Rolla, Waynesville, and surrounding communities across central Missouri.

Residents are encouraged to stay informed but can expect quiet weather conditions tonight, with only minor and isolated precipitation chances.
