Spotsylvania, VA – The Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the community’s help in identifying a suspect connected to a hit-and-run crash that occurred over the weekend.

According to the sheriff’s office, the incident happened Saturday, September 20, 2025, around 2:20 p.m. at the Wawa located at 10630 Courthouse Road in the Breezewood area. Deputies say the pictured man was driving a black Lexus allegedly involved in the collision before leaving the scene.

Authorities released a surveillance photo of the man on Wednesday, September 24, and are urging anyone with information to come forward. Investigators have not released details about injuries or damage from the crash but confirmed the case remains under active investigation.
