Spotsylvania, VA – A brazen burglary at a Spotsylvania County pawn shop early Monday morning left multiple firearms stolen in less than a minute, according to the Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to an alarm at Pawn King, located at 4401 Plank Road, around 3:07 a.m. Monday. According to the Sheriff’s Office, a vehicle had been backed into the storefront, breaching the building. The car, a 2013 Hyundai with Maryland license plates, was later confirmed stolen from Maryland.

Deputies searched the shop but found no suspects on scene. Investigators, with help from store employees and surveillance video, determined that at least four masked individuals allegedly entered the business and took an undisclosed number of firearms. The burglary lasted about 60 seconds from entry to exit.

The case remains under active investigation as detectives review video footage and collect evidence. Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact the Sheriff’s Office or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Solvers at www.spotsylvaniacrimesolvers.org or via the P3 Tips app.
