PITTSBURGH – Pittsburgh’s Steel City Spooky Market returns today from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Frankie Pace Park, with available parking near PPG Arena. The Halloween-themed market offers spooky surprises, ghoulish goodies, and frightening food truck options for shoppers.

The market, which began in August, features a rotating cast of vendors and food trucks, giving shoppers new options each visit. Vendor applications for future markets remain open on the organization’s website until the market closes before Halloween.

The market is held bi-weekly during both August and September, shifting to a weekly schedule in October. The next Spooky Outdoor market will be Saturday, Sept. 20.

Local artists and craftsmen sell oddities, handcrafted trinkets, and seasonal decorations. Flash tattoos, stickers, tarot card readings, and piercings are available. Shoppers can browse spookier items such as taxidermy and bones.

The work of local artists is highlighted weekly on the market’s website and social media channels.

Halloween brings many festivals, markets, and events, but organizers say the Steel City Spooky Market offers a variety of dates throughout the fall season leading up to Halloween. Visitors are encouraged to test their costumes, enjoy the season, and even bring their dogs.
