Spokane, Wash. – After a cool, cloudy Sunday with scattered rain, temperatures across eastern Washington are set to climb steadily through the workweek. Highs will push back into the upper 70s and low 80s by midweek, giving the Inland Northwest a taste of late-summer warmth.

According to the National Weather Service in Spokane, Monday will start mild with morning lows in the upper 40s to 50s before afternoon highs reach the upper 60s and 70s. The real warm-up begins Tuesday, with Spokane hitting the upper 70s and Coeur d’Alene climbing into the 80s.
