Spokane Valley, Washington – Wednesday — A man was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after an early morning shooting in Spokane Valley, prompting a major crimes investigation and the detention of another adult male.

According to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded at approximately 4:50 a.m. to a report of a shooting in the 18100 block of East Cowley Avenue.
