Spokane Valley, WA – Authorities are asking the public for assistance in identifying a woman suspected of assaulting a man, stealing from him, and damaging his vehicle outside a Spokane Valley convenience store late Saturday night.

According to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded around 11:55 p.m. Saturday to a reported assault at the 76 Gas Station located at 12309 E. Mansfield Avenue. Investigators said the male victim told deputies he saw the woman arguing with a store clerk and believed she was attempting to steal items. When he urged the clerk to call 911, the woman allegedly attacked him as he entered his car in the parking lot.

Deputies said during the altercation the suspect stole items from both the victim and his vehicle, then allegedly threw rocks at his car, shattering the windshield. She was last seen walking east on Mansfield Avenue following the incident.

Major Crimes Detectives are continuing their investigation but have not been able to identify the woman. Authorities released images of the suspect and are urging anyone with information to contact Major Crimes Detective D. Meyer at 509-477-3159, referencing case number #10108125.

The Sheriff’s Office stressed that community tips are critical in cases like this, where investigators are working to confirm the suspect’s identity and pursue charges related to assault and theft.
