Spokane County, WA – Three adults were hospitalized early Wednesday morning after a violent one-vehicle rollover crash near Airway Heights that left a home heavily damaged and a dog dead, according to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said the crash happened around 1:00 a.m. on October 22, 2025, near W. Hallett Road and S. Mayflower Street. Investigators believe the adult male driver, who sustained life-threatening injuries, was impaired and speeding when the 2004 Ford F250 lost control, rolled, and struck a home.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the adult female passenger suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries, while a male passenger, believed to have been wearing a seatbelt, was treated and released from the hospital. A dog inside the vehicle was ejected and died at the scene.
Responding units from Spokane County Sheriff’s Office, Airway Heights Police, and Cheney Police assisted, along with Spokane County Fire District 3 and AMR paramedics. Deputies noted that the driver and female passenger were not wearing seatbelts at the time.
The Traffic Unit was called to investigate due to the seriousness of the crash and suspected impairment. Deputies obtained a search warrant for a blood sample from the driver for testing.
The driver, whose name has not been released, remains hospitalized. Investigators say he could face felony vehicular assault charges once released.
