Spartanburg, South Carolina – Dangerous heat and late-day storms will make Tuesday, July 29th a high-impact weather day for much of the Upstate.

A Heat Advisory remains in effect from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, with heat index values peaking near 106°F, according to the National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg. Residents in Spartanburg, Cherokee, York, Union, and surrounding counties should limit outdoor activity, especially between noon and 5 p.m.
