Grand Rapids, MI – Southwestern Michigan is gearing up for a significant weather event today, with forecasts predicting severe storms and the potential for tornadoes. 

The US National Weather Service in Grand Rapids has issued warnings for the area, highlighting the risk of damaging winds, large hail, and isolated tornadoes.

According to the National Weather Service, the storms are expected to move through the region between 3 PM and 10 PM as a cold front pushes across the area. 

Residents are urged to stay vigilant and have emergency plans in place. The weather service emphasizes that while all severe weather hazards are possible, the primary concerns are strong wind gusts and large hail, which could cause considerable damage.
