Paducah, KY – Residents can expect a shift to warmer temperatures starting this weekend, offering a break from the recent cold spell. Forecasts predict highs reaching into the 50s by Sunday and continuing to climb slightly above normal early next week.

According to the National Weather Service in Paducah, dry weather will persist through Wednesday, creating ideal conditions for outdoor activities. Highs on Sunday are forecast to reach 43 degrees, followed by clear skies and highs in the upper 40s on Monday. By Tuesday, temperatures could hit 54 degrees, with no significant precipitation expected until Thursday evening.

Wind gusts may pick up slightly on Saturday, reaching up to 20 mph, but overall conditions will remain calm for the remainder of the week. Evening lows will stay near freezing, so commuters should remain cautious of icy patches on roadways like Interstate 24 and U.S. Route 60 during early morning hours.

The five-day outlook shows partly sunny skies and highs peaking at 55 degrees by midweek before rain chances develop Thursday night. Friday could see scattered showers, but no severe weather is anticipated at this time.

Stay tuned for updates as the forecast evolves, and plan ahead to enjoy the mild weather before rain moves in.
