Cincinnati, OH – Snowfall and strong winds are expected to impact parts of Ohio, Indiana, and northern Kentucky on Sunday, with accumulations up to 3 inches and gusts reaching 40 mph.

According to the National Weather Service in Wilmington, OH, a Winter Weather Advisory will be in effect from 4 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday for Indiana counties including Fayette, Union, and Wayne, and Ohio counties such as Auglaize, Darke, Mercer, Preble, and Shelby. Snowfall totals between 2 and 3 inches are anticipated, with higher amounts possible in localized areas.

In southwestern Ohio, including Cincinnati, Dayton, and surrounding counties, snow may begin as a wintry mix early Sunday morning, with up to 2 inches expected by evening. Winds are forecasted to intensify, potentially reducing visibility and making roads slick.

Travelers are urged to exercise caution. Ohio residents can check road conditions at ohgo.com, while Indiana and Kentucky travelers can visit 511in.org and goky.ky.gov, respectively, for updates. Authorities advise slowing down and allowing extra travel time due to slippery roads and strong winds.
