Milwaukee, WI – The National Weather Service in Milwaukee/Sullivan has released estimated snowfall totals from the overnight storm that affected southern Wisconsin from Saturday night into Sunday morning.

Snowfall totals varied widely across the region, with the heaviest accumulation south of Madison and along the Illinois border.

Key totals include:

  • Kenosha: 5.4 inches
  • Elkhorn: 5.0 inches
  • Monroe: 5.0 inches
  • Darlington: 4.7 inches
  • Burlington: 4.4 inches
  • Whitewater: 3.4 inches
  • Madison: 2.4 inches
  • Milwaukee: 2.8 inches

Areas north of the Wisconsin Dells generally saw under 1 inch of snow, while locations near the Illinois state line experienced the most accumulation.

The NWS noted that limited snowfall reports may have led to slightly lower estimated totals in some spots and encouraged additional storm reports from residents.

Road conditions improved through Sunday afternoon as snow tapered off, but slippery spots may linger overnight, especially on untreated surfaces.
