Las Vegas, Nevada – Southern Nevada is expected to warm up noticeably late next week as above-normal temperatures take hold across the Mojave Desert, delivering a stretch of mild, dry weather with a more springlike feel.
According to the National Weather Service Climate Prediction Center, southern Nevada is favored to trend warmer than average from Saturday through the following Friday as colder air remains displaced well north of the region. High pressure over the Southwest will help maintain dry conditions and limit any significant weather disturbances.
In the Las Vegas Valley, including Henderson and North Las Vegas, daytime highs are expected to climb into the low to mid-60s, with overnight lows staying milder than typical for late January. Plenty of sunshine will allow temperatures to rebound quickly each afternoon, making for comfortable outdoor conditions.
Farther west toward Pahrump and Nye County, similar warmth is expected, with dry air and light winds supporting pleasant afternoons and cool, stable nights. Across higher terrain surrounding the valley, temperatures will still cool after sunset but should remain above seasonal norms during the day.
With no strong cold fronts expected, the warm pattern appears steady through the end of the month. Residents should stay mindful of localized breezes during the afternoon, but no significant weather impacts are anticipated as above-normal temperatures persist across southern Nevada.
