Pueblo, CO – Southern Colorado will see a cool and breezy weekend followed by a noticeable warm-up to start next week, according to the National Weather Service in Pueblo.

Forecasters say dry weather will prevail across the region from Saturday through Monday, with sunny skies dominating. Saturday’s highs will range from the mid-50s to near 60°F across the plains, the mid-50s in the mountain valleys, and the 30s to mid-50s in the mountains. Overnight lows will dip into the 20s.

Sunday will be the coolest day of the stretch, with highs mainly in the 40s and 50s and lows in the upper teens to 20s. Breezy conditions are expected at times, especially across open areas of the plains.

By Monday, a ridge of high pressure will bring warmer temperatures and calm winds, with highs climbing back into the 60s across much of the region. No precipitation is forecast through the weekend or early next week.

Residents can expect a classic fall weekend — brisk mornings, sunny afternoons, and a quick rebound into milder weather by the start of the workweek.
