Pueblo, CO – Southern Colorado is set for a cool but beautiful Halloween evening, with clear skies and below-normal temperatures across the region.

According to the US National Weather Service Pueblo, highs will reach the 40s and 50s this afternoon before cooling quickly after sunset. During peak trick-or-treat hours (6–10 p.m.), temperatures are expected to dip into the 30s and low 40s under calm and mostly clear skies.

Light winds are expected across the plains, though gustier conditions may occur in some mountain valleys. Despite the chill, dry air and clear conditions should make for comfortable Halloween festivities across southern Colorado communities, including Pueblo, Colorado Springs, and La Junta.

Residents are encouraged to dress warmly and layer costumes for trick-or-treating as temperatures drop rapidly after dark.
