Colorado Springs, Colo. – Sunshine dominates through Thursday with highs pushing near the mid-90s, but southern Colorado will shift toward a wetter, stormier pattern by the end of the week.

According to the National Weather Service in Pueblo, storm chances increase Friday afternoon, bringing a 60% likelihood of showers and thunderstorms across El Paso and Pueblo counties. Some cells may produce heavy rainfall, with localized flooding possible in low-lying areas.
