San Bernardino, CA – A heat advisory remains in effect for several Southern California regions, with temperatures in the San Bernardino and Riverside County valleys expected to reach up to 103°F, and locally near 105°F. The intense heat, which is affecting the Inland Empire, will continue until 9 p.m. Saturday, putting a strain on residents and increasing the risk for heat-related illnesses.

According to the National Weather Service, hot temperatures are predicted for the valleys, including cities such as Fontana, Riverside, and San Bernardino. Residents in these areas should be prepared for potentially dangerous conditions as temperatures soar through Saturday evening.

The high heat is also impacting other regions, including San Diego and Ventura Counties, where temperatures are forecast to reach near 97°F in inland valleys and the Santa Clarita area. In addition to the immediate risks to health, the hot weather could challenge local infrastructure, particularly in heat-sensitive industries like agriculture and outdoor recreation.

Health experts urge individuals to stay hydrated, avoid excessive sun exposure, and stay in air-conditioned spaces where possible. Special attention should be given to vulnerable populations, including the elderly and children, who are at a higher risk for heat exhaustion or heat stroke.

With temperatures expected to remain high until tomorrow night, residents are advised to stay vigilant and monitor local alerts for any updates or additional advisories.
