Los Angeles, CA – Patchy fog will continue to blanket much of the Los Angeles area during early morning hours through Thursday, creating low visibility for drivers and delaying daily burn-off until late morning.
According to the National Weather Service in Oxnard, fog will persist each morning in East L.A. and surrounding communities before clearing by midday. Highs are expected to reach the low 80s, with overnight lows in the low 60s. Calm conditions and light onshore breezes are expected throughout the week, with the fog especially dense before 11 a.m.
Drivers commuting along the I-5, I-10, and the 101 should expect reduced visibility during morning rush hours. Local officials recommend allowing extra travel time and using headlights during fog-prone periods. Skies will gradually clear each afternoon, providing sunny and mild conditions ideal for outdoor plans.
This pattern is typical for early summer in coastal Southern California, often referred to as “June Gloom.” No precipitation is expected, and conditions will remain stable through Independence Day.
Fog advisories are not currently in effect, but updates may follow if visibility worsens.
