TUCSON, Ariz. – Southern Arizona’s signature sunshine returns in full force this weekend as Tucson heads into a stretch of perfect fall weather. Temperatures will climb steadily through Saturday and Sunday, reaching the mid-80s under clear skies and light winds—ideal for outdoor plans and travel along the I-10 corridor.

According to the National Weather Service in Tucson, Thursday starts mild with highs near 79°F and calm winds. The warming trend continues Friday as highs reach around 80°F, marking the start of several days of bright, stable weather. Lows will dip into the mid-50s at night, bringing cool, comfortable evenings across Pima County.

This weekend promises pristine fall conditions for hiking in Sabino Canyon, visiting pumpkin patches, or strolling through downtown markets. Saturday will top out near 83°F, followed by a warmer Sunday around 88°F—perfect for early Halloween decorating or desert adventures. Winds remain light throughout the period, keeping visibility excellent for travelers heading east toward Benson or west toward Casa Grande.
