Tulsa, OK – Southeastern Oklahoma is set to enjoy a generally beautiful July day with some weather fluctuations. A few isolated storms could occur this afternoon, bringing brief heavy downpours to parts of the region. However, these storms are expected to be localized, affecting southeastern Oklahoma and western-central Arkansas.

According to the US National Weather Service Tulsa, below-average temperatures will prevail through the weekend. Thursday’s high in Tulsa is projected to reach 88°F, while Fort Smith and Fayetteville will experience similar temperatures. By Friday, temperatures are expected to remain consistent, with highs around 87°F in Tulsa and Fort Smith.

Saturday will bring continued dry conditions, with temperatures reaching the high 80s. However, residents should prepare for a shift on Sunday, with a 50% chance of rain and temperatures dropping to 82°F. The weather will stay cooler into early next week, with a 40% chance of rain on Monday and temperatures around 81°F.
