Detroit, MI — Michigan residents can expect a partly sunny day with temperatures ranging from the upper 70s to around 80 degrees. According to the US National Weather Service Detroit/Pontiac, today’s forecast promises mild weather, ideal for outdoor activities.

A chance of scattered showers or thunderstorms is forecasted for Friday. Highs will climb into the lower 80s, bringing more warmth to the region. Thursday’s weather will be partly cloudy, with clouds increasing in the afternoon. Dry and mild conditions will prevail with highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s. Residents can look forward to a warm and sunny weekend, with temperatures gradually rising. According to the US National Weather Service Detroit/Pontiac, Saturday’s forecast predicts sunny skies with highs reaching 87 degrees, making it perfect for outdoor activities.

Sunday will continue the trend with even warmer temperatures, as highs are expected to near 89 degrees. However, there is a slight chance of rain, with a 35% probability of showers in the afternoon and evening.

As we move into the beginning of next week, Monday will see highs reaching around 90 degrees. Similar to Sunday, there is a 35% chance of rain, with showers more likely in the afternoon. Despite the rain chances, the temperatures will remain warm, providing a true summer feel.

Tuesday and Wednesday will see temperatures drop slightly, with highs in the upper 80s. Tuesday is expected to be mostly sunny, offering a brief respite from potential rain. On Wednesday, highs will be around 78 degrees, with mostly sunny skies and a slight breeze.

Small Craft Advisories and Beach Hazard Statements are currently in effect. These advisories impact Saginaw Bay until 10 a.m., Port Austin to Port Huron until 4 p.m., and the Michigan waters of Lake Erie and Lake St. Clair until 10 a.m. Beach hazards for Huron, Sanilac, and St. Clair are effective until 4 p.m. Winds from the northeast are expected to reach 15-20 knots with gusts up to 25 knots. Waves will range from 3-6 feet, with strong currents posing a risk to swimmers.
