Detroit, MI – Southeastern Michigan is set for another day of dry conditions with high temperatures in the low 80s. According to the US National Weather Service Detroit/Pontiac, a high-pressure system is maintaining stable weather, ensuring dry conditions and comfortable temperatures for the region.

For today, residents can expect mostly sunny skies with highs reaching the lower to mid-80s. Tonight, temperatures will drop to the low to mid-60s, providing a cool and pleasant evening. The weekend outlook includes a low chance for showers and possibly thunderstorms on Sunday and Monday afternoons, particularly north of I-69.

Sunday will see highs in the low to mid-80s, with overnight lows in the upper 50s to low 60s. The chance of isolated or scattered showers and thunderstorms will persist, primarily affecting areas north of I-69. On Monday, temperatures will remain consistent, with highs in the low to mid-80s and lows in the low to mid-60s. There will be a 20-30% chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms.

Looking ahead to the middle of next week, there is a better potential for showers and thunderstorms as weak low pressure and a cold front track through the northern Great Lakes. Tuesday’s forecast remains dry with highs in the low 80s, but by Wednesday, there is a 40% chance of precipitation, bringing much-needed relief to the dry conditions.

Temperatures for the remainder of the week will fluctuate, with highs ranging from the upper 70s to mid-80s and overnight lows between the low 60s to mid-70s. The air quality index is currently moderate, similar to previous days, with no significant changes expected in the immediate future.
