Detroit, MI – Southeastern Michigan is set for a stretch of dry weather through Saturday, with a significant warming trend anticipated over the weekend. According to the US National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac, today’s forecast includes mostly sunny skies with high temperatures ranging from 74°F to 80°F.

Friday will see sunny conditions continuing, with highs between 77°F and 81°F and lows in the mid-50s. The warming trend accelerates on Saturday as temperatures climb to between 82°F and 85°F under clear skies, with overnight lows ranging from 60°F to 65°F.

On Sunday, a warm and humid airmass will move into the region, bringing a chance of thunderstorms late in the day. Highs are expected to reach 81°F to 85°F, with lows between 67°F and 70°F.

The unsettled weather is forecasted to persist into Monday, with continued chances of thunderstorms and temperatures peaking between 84°F and 87°F. Lows will remain steady, ranging from 67°F to 71°F.

As the week progresses, Tuesday and Wednesday will see partly cloudy skies and continued warm temperatures, with highs reaching the mid-80s. The trend of warm weather is expected to persist, with temperatures hovering around the upper 80s towards the end of the week.
