Detroit, MI – Residents of Southeastern Michigan should prepare for a mix of scattered showers, thunderstorms, and sunny intervals this week. The US National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac has issued a forecast indicating increasing morning clouds with scattered showers expected across all areas today. Numerous afternoon showers are likely south of I-69, with a chance of thunderstorms throughout the region. Highs will reach around 80 degrees.

According to the National Weather Service, an isolated strong thunderstorm is possible, mainly south of M-59. Thursday will see a shift to sunny weather with low humidity and highs in the mid-70s. Increasing clouds are expected on Friday, with highs around 80 and likely showers by Friday night.
