Detroit, Michigan – After a cooler, less humid start to the week, Southeast Michigan is bracing for a return to unsettled weather with scattered thunderstorms likely from Wednesday through Friday. Monday brings a break from the muggy conditions, but residents should expect changing skies and increasing rain chances as the week progresses.

According to the National Weather Service in Detroit, Monday will see highs between 72°F and 82°F with clouds clearing out by afternoon. Tuesday is expected to stay dry and partly cloudy, with temperatures rising to 80–86°F and lows dipping into the upper 50s and low 60s.

The shift arrives Wednesday, as scattered thunderstorms are expected to move into the Detroit area and surrounding cities, including Ann Arbor, Livonia, and Pontiac.
