Detroit, Michigan – A few light showers could dampen parts of southeast Michigan this morning, especially south of I-94, but sunshine and warmer temperatures are set to return through the weekend.

Temperatures will climb from the low 70s today to the low 80s by Monday, marking a steady warming trend into early next week.

Drivers along I-94 should watch for slick spots early, but no widespread travel impacts are expected. Still, anyone with outdoor plans may want to check radar if heading south early in the day.
