Atlanta, GA – Halloween in the Southeast is shaping up to be nearly perfect, with mild evenings and just a slight chance of stray showers. According to the NOAA Climate Prediction Center, much of Georgia, Alabama, and Florida should see near-normal rainfall and above-average temperatures through October 31, 2025.
Warm southerly winds will keep nighttime lows comfortable — ideal for outdoor events and trick-or-treating. Highs in the 70s and lows in the 60s are expected across most cities, with only spotty showers possible along the Gulf Coast or interior Florida Peninsula.
Parents are encouraged to make the most of this stretch of dry weather. Dress kids in lightweight costumes and breathable fabrics, as humidity could still linger after sunset. With clear skies expected in many areas, visibility will be high — but reflective patches and glow sticks remain smart safety tools for crossing streets.
Forecasters say the setup looks unusually calm for late October, though early November could bring a stronger cold front. Until then, it’s smooth sailing for outdoor festivities.
“Conditions look about as close to perfect as you could ask for on Halloween night,” meteorologists said Friday. “Warm, light breezes, and no major weather disruptions.”
