Tucson, AZ — Residents in Tucson can expect scorching temperatures today, with highs reaching 105°F by late afternoon. Those venturing outside are advised to take necessary precautions, especially during peak heat hours from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a heat advisory for the region, warning of dangerous conditions, especially for sensitive groups like the elderly and outdoor workers.

According to the NWS, temperatures will stay high throughout the weekend, with a high of 104°F forecasted for Saturday. This heatwave will continue into early next week, with Sunday and Monday expected to reach over 100°F. Overnight lows won’t offer much relief either, as temperatures are only expected to drop to the low 70s each night.
