Corpus Christi, TX – A series of weak to moderate cold fronts moving across South Texas this week will bring scattered rain chances and a noticeable cooldown by midweek, according to the National Weather Service in Corpus Christi. The pattern will keep conditions unsettled at times through Wednesday before drier and cooler weather settles in for Thanksgiving.

According to the National Weather Service, rain chances Monday and Tuesday will range from 20–30%, with highs reaching the low to upper 80s—well above average for late November. Monday’s forecast calls for highs between 82–87°F, while Tuesday reaches 81–86°F. Overnight lows will remain humid and warm, staying in the upper 50s to lower 70s.

A stronger front arrives Wednesday, bringing an increase in cloud cover and 20–40% rain chances. Temperatures drop noticeably, with highs falling into the 71–74°F range. The front will also usher in cooler mornings, with lows dipping into the mid-40s to upper 50s by Thanksgiving morning.

Thanksgiving Day looks pleasant and seasonably cool, with highs between 70–74°F and dry conditions expected. Lows Thursday night may fall into the 50–63°F range across the Coastal Bend.

By Friday, temperatures creep back up slightly into the 74–78°F range, but the overall pattern remains cooler and drier compared to early week conditions.

Travelers and holiday planners should prepare for off-and-on showers Monday through Wednesday, but Thanksgiving itself appears mostly sunny and quiet for outdoor plans.
