Corpus Christi, TX – South Texans can expect summerlike heat to linger through the final full week of October, according to the National Weather Service in Corpus Christi. Highs will range from the upper 80s to upper 90s through Saturday, with humid conditions and only scattered rain chances developing later in the week.
According to the National Weather Service, temperatures across Corpus Christi, Victoria, and Laredo will remain above average through at least October 29. The agency reports that seasonal highs in the region typically top out in the lower 80s, but current readings are running five to ten degrees warmer. Patchy fog may form overnight along the Coastal Plains, particularly after midnight.
Rain chances increase slightly midweek — around 15% Wednesday and 20% Thursday in the Victoria Crossroads — before rising to 35–45% by Friday and Saturday along the Northern Coastal Bend. The best opportunity for showers will be east of Interstate 37, forecasters said.
Officials note a low to moderate risk of heat-related impacts, urging residents to stay hydrated and avoid extended outdoor exposure during peak afternoon hours. A gradual cooling trend may begin closer to Halloween as weather patterns shift across the southern United States.
