Corpus Christi, TX – A chilly night is in store for South Texas as temperatures dip into the low 40s across several inland cities, with wind chill values dropping into the 30s overnight.

According to the National Weather Service in Corpus Christi, residents in Beeville, Victoria, and Alice can expect temperatures to fall between 41°F and 45°F on Sunday night into early Monday. Wind chill values are forecast to range from 35°F to 45°F, especially in more inland areas such as Tilden and Cotulla.

These below-normal temperatures come as part of a broader cold snap gripping the region, with daytime highs struggling to reach the upper 60s to low 70s Sunday—about 13 to 17 degrees below average for early April.

Residents are advised to wear layers and limit outdoor exposure during the late night and early morning hours. Sensitive plants and pets should also be protected from the cold.

The cold spell is expected to ease gradually, with temperatures rebounding throughout the workweek. Highs will climb into the upper 70s and low 80s by Tuesday, reaching the upper 80s and 90s by Thursday and Friday.
