Residents are urged to stay hydrated, avoid prolonged sun exposure, and take frequent breaks in shaded or air-conditioned areas if spending time outdoors. The heat is expected to peak during the afternoon hours, with some relief coming in the form of scattered showers and thunderstorms, particularly in the late afternoon and early evening.
