Sioux Falls, SD – South Dakota is set to experience very warm and mainly dry conditions over the next few days, with isolated showers and thunderstorms possible east of I-29 today. The forecast indicates a significant rise in temperatures, with highs reaching into the 90s.

According to the National Weather Service in Sioux Falls, Thursday will see isolated storms in southwestern Minnesota, with temperatures ranging from 82 to 90 degrees. The heat will intensify on Friday, with highs between 87 and 94 degrees and clear skies.

Saturday continues the trend of high temperatures, with expectations of 88 to 97 degrees. Isolated storms may occur north of I-90, bringing brief relief from the heat. By Sunday, temperatures will remain high, between 81 and 91 degrees, with a slight chance of isolated storms.

The extended forecast shows a mix of hot and humid conditions, with clear skies dominating the region. On Monday, temperatures are expected to drop slightly to a high of 82 degrees, and Tuesday will bring cooler conditions with a high of 78 degrees.
