The most dangerous activity will shift east between 7–10 p.m. along the I-29 corridor—affecting Brookings, Sioux Falls, and Worthington—then move into southwest Minnesota between 9 p.m. and midnight.
Counties under the highest threat include Codington, Deuel, Brookings, and Lincoln in SD, and Nobles and Murray in MN. Level 4 out of 5 severe risk zones stretch north of I-90, where large hail over 2 inches, destructive winds, and possible tornadoes could develop rapidly. Flash flooding is also possible in localized areas.
