According to the National Weather Service in Sioux Falls, a strong to severe storm cannot be ruled out Thursday afternoon and evening, especially west of the James River. Breezy conditions will persist through Thursday, with wind gusts reaching around 30 mph. Thursday’s temperatures are forecasted to range between 79 and 90 degrees, with a higher chance of PM showers.
The heat intensifies on Friday and Saturday, with highs climbing to the mid-80s and low-90s. Saturday will be hot and humid, with highs between 85 and 92 degrees. By Sunday, the heat peaks, with temperatures soaring to the low 90s under sunny skies.
