Sioux Falls, SD – A dense fog advisory has been issued for several counties in South Dakota, including Huron, Mitchell, and Brookings. The advisory, issued by the US National Weather Service Sioux Falls South Dakota, warns of quarter-mile visibility in the affected areas until 9 AM CDT.

According to the weather service, the advisory includes the counties of Hanson, McCook, Miner, Sanborn, Jerauld, Aurora, Davison, and Kingsbury. Residents and drivers in these areas are urged to take precautions while on the road. The service recommends reducing distractions, keeping headlights on after sunrise, slowing down, and increasing the following distance between vehicles to ensure safety.
