Austin, TX – Rounds of showers and thunderstorms will continue to affect South-Central Texas throughout this week and into the weekend. The National Weather Service (NWS) in Austin-San Antonio has issued a forecast indicating the potential for embedded heavy rainfall and isolated to scattered flooding across the region.

According to the NWS, areas including San Antonio, Austin, Kerrville, and Eagle Pass can expect periods of intense rain. The forecast shows a high chance of precipitation, with Wednesday through Sunday seeing consistent thunderstorm activity. Daytime temperatures will hover in the mid to upper 80s, while nighttime lows will remain in the 70s, providing little relief from the wet conditions.

The NWS warns that some areas may experience significant flooding, especially in low-lying regions and those with poor drainage systems. Residents are advised to stay informed through local weather updates and to take necessary precautions to protect their property and ensure personal safety.
