San Antonio, Texas – Highs in the upper 80s to upper 90s will dominate central and southern Texas Sunday, as another day of partly to mostly cloudy skies moves through the region. Isolated showers are possible, especially over the coastal plains and Rio Grande areas.
According to the National Weather Service in Austin-San Antonio, wind gusts up to 25 mph from the south-southeast may affect travel and outdoor activity, with sustained winds around 10 to 15 mph. Areas including San Antonio, Del Rio, and the southern Edwards Plateau may see brief, scattered afternoon showers, though overall rain chances remain low for most locations.
Temperatures will continue trending near seasonal normals, with Austin and San Marcos climbing into the low to mid-90s. Areas further west like Eagle Pass and Carrizo Springs may see highs around 97°F to 99°F. Coastal regions, particularly Cuero and Victoria, are expected to experience slightly better rain chances through the afternoon.
